I want to personally thank everyone who attended the 1st Annual Warren McKenna Memorial Golf Tournament, and hope everyone had a great time. The tournament was a huge success, raising over $7,500 in its first year. We are sending $4,500 to Benedictine to the Gymnasium Fund. We have set up a pledge of $2,000 a year to the Spider Baseball stadium for 5 years. This $10,000 allows us to put a plaque up on the new stadium on one of the brick pillars in honor of Warren. We will pick one of the brick columns beside the home dugout and 3rd base, where my dad would stand and watch the games for the 4 years I was there. We always knew when he was here because we could smell the cigar coming. The remaining $1,000 will be donated to the American Liver Foundation for cancer research.

I want to thank all the volunteers and staff at RCC who helped make this event run so smoothly. I also want to thank Jimmy McKenna, Jimmy Bowman, Trey Patrick, Mark Douglas, Billy Gordon, and Adam Leonard for all their help setting up and planning the tournament.

We have set up a facebook page where I have posted close to 400 pictures from the tournament. You can go to
and like the page.  We are working to make next year’s tournament bigger and better. Depending on how many teams we have sign up, we will be shooting for a double shotgun with a morning and afternoon tournament. It was an amazing testament to my amazing man my father was when we filled up with 26 teams in less than 3 weeks, with only word of mouth. Please feel free to email me with any questions, comments, or suggestions for next year. We also have a special email for the tournament:
