Warren Thomas McKenna was a native of Richmond, VA, growing up at Three Chopt Pool, St. Bridget's, before graduating from Benedictine High School, class of '72. He attended University of Richmond on a football scholarship before heading into the Air Force.

He has been the smiling face and service manager of Village Exxon at the corner of Patterson and Three Chopt for the past 23 years.

He enjoyed golfing every Sunday, so we thought the best way to honor his memory was to do an annual golf tournament in his name.

We just finished the First Annual Warren McKenna Memorial Golf Tournament with 26 teams, and besides a brief downpour that delayed us a few minutes, the tournament was a great success. We raised over $7,500 which will go to Benedictine College Preparatory Gym Fund, University of Richmond Baseball Stadium Fund, and to the American Liver Society.
